Peach County, GA (July 12, 2026) – Two people were injured on Friday morning, July 10, after a moving van overturned along I-75 in Peach County, temporarily shutting down all northbound lanes.
The rollover happened at about 8:30 a.m., as the moving van was traveling north in the right lane of I-75 near State Route 96. According to the sheriff, the driver attempted to overcorrect, causing the van to overturn onto its side before sliding several feet along the interstate.
Two people were taken to a hospital in Macon for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available, but no deaths were reported. The people involved have not been publicly identified.
Traffic cameras showed all northbound lanes closed following the rollover, with backups stretching from the State Route 96 exit to the Russell Parkway exit. The cause of the rollover remains under review as investigators continue gathering information.
