New Berlin, WI (September 11, 2026) – Two people were injured in a five-vehicle crash on Thursday, September 10, on southbound I-43 near Moorland Road in New Berlin.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 6:25 a.m. A vehicle reportedly failed to stop for slowed traffic, triggering a chain-reaction crash involving five vehicles.
Two occupants were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All lanes of southbound I-43 later reopened, and traffic returned to normal.
