Desert Hot Springs, CA (July 28, 2026) – Two people were hurt following a three-vehicle crash on the afternoon of July 26 at the intersection of Dillon Road and Bel Air in Desert Hot Springs.
According to CHP dispatch reports, the wreck was reported shortly before 3:00 p.m. after a white Toyota Tacoma, a white Ford F-250, and a semi-truck became involved. Initial information indicated one vehicle had been swerving between lanes at high speed, drifting into oncoming traffic and off the roadway before the vehicles came together.
Emergency units were notified that one of the vehicles had begun to catch fire, prompting additional fire resources to respond.
The extent of the injuries has not been released, and the identities of those involved have not yet been made public. The cause remains under investigation as investigators continue gathering information about what led up to the crash.
