Vacaville, CA (September 3, 2026) – Two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 80 near the Cherry Glen Road off-ramp in Vacaville on Tuesday, September 1.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:45 a.m. and involved a minivan and a silver Honda Civic. Both vehicles, along with a motorcycle, were initially reported on the right shoulder, while the crash blocked lanes 3 and 4.
One of the vehicles was reported to be on its side, and there was concern that a vehicle might have started to catch fire after smoke was detected. Vacaville Fire responded to the scene, and tow services were requested for the Honda Civic and Chrysler minivan.
