Chicago, IL (June 3, 2026) – Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident early on Wednesday, June 3, along Interstate 94 on Chicago’s South Side.
According to preliminary information, state troopers were called to the northbound lanes of I-94 near 99th Street at approximately 5:55 a.m. after reports of a wreck involving a red Tesla and a white BMW. Early findings indicate a utility pole was also involved and was blocking traffic lanes after the collision.
The two people involved were taken to a hospital for treatment. Information regarding the severity of their injuries was not released. One northbound lane remained closed during the morning while emergency units worked in the roadway and investigators gathered information.
