St. Louis, MO (September 1, 2026) – Two drivers were injured on Monday morning, August 31, after a three-vehicle accident on southbound MO-141 at Rider Trl North in St. Louis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that a 2022 Ram 5500 was traveling with emergency lights and a siren while heading to assist a stranded motorist. The driver, a 42-year-old man from St. Peters, failed to keep a proper lookout and did not stop for a steady red traffic signal at the intersection.
The front of the Ram struck the right side of a southbound 2015 Freightliner M2. The Freightliner then skidded before its front struck the left side of a 2019 Freightliner MT 55G. The third vehicle overturned and came to rest on its right side off the right side of the roadway, while the second Freightliner came to rest on top of it.
The 55-year-old Freightliner M2 driver from Germantown, Illinois, and the 35-year-old MT 55G driver from Florissant, Missouri, were both injured and taken to SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis. Both were wearing safety devices. The investigation into the collision remains underway as additional details are reviewed.
