Clover, SC (August 3, 2026) – An 18-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman died on Saturday, August 1, after his Ford Mustang lost control, crossed the centerline, and struck her Kia Sorento head-on on North Paraham Road, south of WH Stowe Road, according to the York County Coroner’s Office. The crash happened just before 3 p.m.
Justin Meenaghan and Brooklyn Gilfillan were both pronounced dead at the scene. Five children who were also in the Sorento were taken to the hospital with injuries. Paraham Road between Highway 55 and 557 was closed for hours before reopening around 8:15 p.m.
