Bloomfield Township, MI (September 8, 2026) – Two 13-year-old boys remained in critical condition after an electric motorcycle and a pickup truck collided around noon on Monday, September 7, at Telegraph Road and Hickory Grove Road.
The teens, both from Bloomfield Township, were riding together on an electric motorcycle along the sidewalk on Hickory Grove Road. As they crossed Telegraph Road, a southbound Ford F-150 struck them.
Emergency units took one teen to Trinity Health Oakland Hospital and the other to Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. The teen initially taken to Trinity Health was later transferred to William Beaumont University Hospital.
Both boys were listed in critical condition. Additional details about the circumstances leading up to the wreck have not been released. The investigation into the collision remains underway.
