Springfield, OR (August 20, 2026) – At least one person was injured on Tuesday, August 18, after two vehicles collided near South 35th Street and Oregon Avenue in Springfield.
The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. near the Bob Keefer Sports Center. One vehicle sustained significant front-end damage, while the other rolled, struck a person, and came to rest on its side in the lawn of a nearby home.
Witnesses reported that at least one person was trapped underneath a vehicle for a period of time. The conditions of anyone transported to the hospital had not been confirmed at the time of the report.
