Dorchester County, SC (September 13, 2026) – Three people were killed, and three others were injured Friday afternoon, September 11, after a Honda SUV struck a tractor-trailer on I-95 in Dorchester County.
The collision occurred around 1:09 p.m. Friday, September 11, near mile marker 83. A 2020 Honda SUV was travelling north when it struck a tractor-trailer also heading north.
The Honda driver and two passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment. Three other passengers died from injuries suffered in the collision, while the tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.
The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office had not released the identities of those who died as of publication. The cause of the accident had also not been provided.
The investigation into what led to the wreck is still underway.
