Magnolia, IL (July 21, 2026) – Three people, including two children, were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon, July 19, along Rte. 18 near Chicago St. An SUV driven by 30-year-old Tyree Wilson of Peoria was traveling east on Rte 18 when it was struck by a car driven by 71-year-old Phyllis Munowitz of Naperville.
Munowitz was making a turn from Rte 18 onto Chicago St when the collision occurred. Neither driver was injured, but three passengers inside Wilson’s SUV, including two children, were taken to OSF in Peru with minor injuries.
No additional details about the people injured were released in the initial report on the wreck. The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing as more information becomes available.
