Portland, OR (September 8, 2026) – Three people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a Tesla dealership during a test drive Monday morning, September 7, in Portland.
Portland Fire & Rescue responded shortly after 10:30 a.m. to the dealership at 4330 S Macadam Avenue after receiving a report that a vehicle had crashed into the building at high speed. Police at the scene told fire officials that the crash occurred during a test drive.
The driver reportedly mistakenly accelerated while attempting to brake, causing the vehicle to crash into the dealership. Three people were taken to a hospital for treatment, although the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
