What Happens After a Serious Rollover Accident?
A rollover accident can cause several types of injuries because people inside a vehicle may be thrown against the interior or ejected. Seat belts can reduce the chance of ejection and help keep occupants in place during a sudden change in direction.
Medical evaluation may be needed even when injuries are not obvious right away. Some symptoms can appear hours or days later, including pain, dizziness, headaches, or limited movement. Medical records can help document treatment and recovery.
Photos of vehicle damage, road conditions, and the positions of the vehicles may also provide useful information about what happened. Witness accounts can add another source of information when the circumstances surrounding a wreck are unclear.
