Brevard County, FL (August 27, 2026) – Three students from Telangana, India, were killed after the car they were traveling in crashed into a tree on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, Florida.
The crash happened in the Palm Bay area. According to reports citing the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2025 Hyundai Elantra veered off the roadway and struck a tree before catching fire.
Two of the occupants died at the scene. A third occupant, identified as N. Rahul of Navipet in Telangana’s Nizamabad district, was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The identities of the other two students had not been released. The Telugu Association of North America was reportedly coordinating with U.S. authorities regarding formalities and the repatriation of the victims’ bodies.
