What Happens When a Vehicle Enters a Medical Building?
When a vehicle enters a building, the damage can extend beyond the point where the vehicle stops. Structural components, walls, windows, doors, and interior fixtures may all need to be checked before normal operations resume. People inside the building may also face injuries from the vehicle, falling materials, or broken glass.
Medical evaluations can help determine whether someone needs additional treatment after being hurt. Records from those evaluations may also document the type and extent of physical harm. Photographs, property damage records, and accounts from people nearby can provide further information about what occurred. Building inspections may also be needed when a vehicle reaches an interior space. The extent of repairs can vary based on the vehicle’s path and the portions of the building that were affected.
