Hampton Cove, AL (September 3, 2026) – Four people were taken to hospitals on September 2 after a two-car wreck in Hampton Cove. The crash occurred on Highway 431 near 7 Brew Coffee. A mother and her two adolescent children were in one vehicle, while an adult driver occupied the other.
The mother and one child were taken to Huntsville Hospital ETR in stable condition. The driver of the other vehicle also went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second child was taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services in critical condition. Emergency units arrived and assisted with the wreck.
The cause of the accident has not been released. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may become available as more information is gathered.
