Antigo, WI (August 6, 2026) – A 45-year-old Antigo man died after his bicycle was involved in a collision with a semi-truck on Tuesday afternoon, August 4, at the intersection of 10th Ave and Superior St.
The crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. According to the police, William Hildenbrand, of Antigo, was riding his bicycle when he collided with a semi-truck as it was making a wide turn at the intersection.
Hildenbrand was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting with crash reconstruction as investigators continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. No additional details have been released.
