Bristol Township, PA (June 8, 2026) – A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized after an e-bicycle and a sedan came into contact on the 1000 block of Green Lane near Harry S. Truman High School.
The Bristol Township police confirmed that the accident occurred around 6:39 p.m. on Sunday, June 7. A 2022 Toyota Camry was traveling south on Green Lane toward Mill Creek Road when the child rode a Strike Throne e-bicycle east from the high school parking lot and entered the roadway. Police said the bicycle was struck by the front passenger-side corner of the car.
Emergency units took the child to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township before he was flown by helicopter to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for further treatment. The extent of his injuries was not immediately released. Additional information about those involved had not been made public as of this report. Police have asked anyone with information to contact Officer Jane Areias. Authorities are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
