Lancaster, PA (June 27, 2026) – A 54-year-old man died after a two-vehicle crash involving a convertible and a tractor-trailer in Lancaster County on Thursday, June 25. Emergency units responded to the 2300 block of North Reading Road (Route 272) at approximately 4:43 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision.
According to investigators, the driver and only occupant of the convertible was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lancaster County Coroner identified the victim as Michael Paul, 54, of Shillington. Officials have not confirmed whether the driver of the tractor-trailer was injured.
North Reading Road remained closed for an extended period while crews documented the scene and cleared the roadway. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as they become available.
