Sedalia, MO (August 12, 2026) – According to the crash report, a 62-year-old man was moderately injured in a two-vehicle crash on US-50 westbound at Old Route 50. The crash occurred around 12:19 p.m. on Monday, August 10, and involved a 2013 Ford Focus and a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
The Ford Focus was making a left turn when it entered the path of the Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado then struck the Focus. Both vehicles were totaled in the collision. The 62-year-old Silverado driver was taken to University Hospital by Mid Mo Ambulance.
The 17-year-old Focus driver was transported by personal conveyance to Bothwell Hospital with minor injuries. The crash remains under review as officials work to determine the full circumstances. We are thinking of both drivers as they recover from their injuries.
