Escambia County, FL (July 1, 2026) – A 73-year-old Century man lost his life in a traffic collision around noon on Tuesday, June 30, at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 97 in Escambia County.
According to the initial report, the man was driving a silver Honda sedan when it struck the rear of a gray Dodge Ram that had stopped at the intersection. The pickup was driven by a 64-year-old man from Flomaton.
The Century driver was pronounced dead at the roadside. Additional information about the collision had not been made public as of this report.
The cause of the crash is still being examined as investigators continue gathering information.
