The incident was reported at approximately 10:05 p.m., with Engine 1 and Rescue 1 dispatched to the scene under a Bravo-level priority. Although the exact nature of the injuries has not yet been released, initial reports confirmed that medical care was needed for at least one individual involved in the crash.
Taking place on January 2, the crash occurred along a heavily trafficked corridor near Albuquerque’s downtown area. Lomas Blvd and Central Ave serve as major cross-streets, often carrying both commuter and commercial traffic through the city’s west side.
