Tustin, CA (January 5, 2026) – Several people were hurt early Friday morning following a traffic collision at the intersection of East Main Street and Newport Avenue in Tustin.
The crash was reported around 1:35 a.m., in a central area of the city near retail centers and residential neighborhoods. Preliminary information indicates that at least two vehicles were involved in the incident, which caused enough damage to draw a swift emergency response.
Medical personnel arrived on the scene and began treating individuals who had sustained a range of injuries. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Officials have not confirmed the total number of people injured or the severity of their conditions.
The intersection was temporarily closed while crews worked to clear wreckage and ensure the area was safe. Traffic was minimal due to the early hour, but law enforcement remained on scene to document the crash and begin their investigation.
