Albuquerque, NM (January 5, 2026) – A multi-agency response was initiated following a crash with injuries along the westbound lanes of I-40 near Unser Blvd in northwest Albuquerque. The accident was reported during the midafternoon hours on January 4.
Fire and rescue units responded quickly to the scene to assist individuals hurt in the collision. Medical personnel evaluated and treated victims on-site for injuries sustained in the incident. At this time, it remains unclear how many vehicles were involved or the number of people injured.
