Homosassa, FL (January 7, 2026) – A vehicle crash resulting in reported injuries occurred Monday afternoon near Howard’s Flea Market along South Suncoast Blvd in Homosassa. The incident was reported at approximately 1:23 p.m., prompting a response from Citrus County deputies and emergency medical personnel.
According to dispatch audio, responders were called to the scene near the convenience area adjacent to the flea market, where at least one person was reported injured. While the full extent of injuries has not been confirmed, EMS personnel were present to assess and assist those involved.
Traffic along S Suncoast Blvd (US-19), a heavily traveled roadway through Citrus County, was affected as emergency crews worked to manage the scene and ensure public safety. At least one lane may have been temporarily blocked during the response.
