West Chester, OH (January 7, 2026) – Emergency responders from West Chester were called to the scene of a deadly two-vehicle collision involving a township ambulance Monday evening. The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. on Beckett Rd near the entrance to Beckett Park, leaving one person dead and another seriously injured.
Authorities reported that the West Chester Township ambulance was returning from a hospital transport when the crash occurred. Two occupants in the other vehicle suffered severe injuries. Paramedics from the ambulance immediately began administering medical aid at the scene before both individuals were transported to UC Health West Chester Hospital. Township officials later confirmed that one of the victims tragically passed away that night.
