Tulsa, OK (January 7, 2026) – A serious traffic collision late Tuesday morning led to injuries and a multi-agency response near North Lewis Avenue in Tulsa.
Emergency crews from Tulsa Fire responded at around 12:10 p.m. after reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a silver Chrysler Pacifica and a black Chrysler 300. Dispatch audio revealed that one driver—reportedly behind the wheel of the Chrysler 300—was trapped inside her vehicle and in significant pain, while an unknown fluid was leaking from the car.
Responders remained in phone contact with the trapped driver as they arrived on scene and worked quickly to assess the situation. Due to the number of passengers potentially involved, EMSA dispatched a second ambulance to provide additional support for multiple injured individuals.
The incident created a hazardous environment, both because of the suspected fluid leak and the difficulty in extracting the trapped occupant. Fire personnel initiated command at the scene and coordinated rescue and medical operations while ensuring scene safety.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of people injured or the severity of the injuries, but the situation was treated as a high-priority incident. The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
We send our heartfelt wishes to all those injured in this accident and hope for a safe and swift recovery for everyone involved.
