Baltimore, MD (January 8, 2026) – A hit-and-run accident left at least one person injured Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and South Hilton St in Baltimore. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 1:45 p.m. after reports of a vehicle fleeing following a collision.
Upon arrival, medics and police located the injured party and provided on-site medical assistance. The identity and condition of the individual have not been publicly released. Authorities confirmed that the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene, and an investigation is now underway to identify the driver responsible.
The intersection remained active as responders tended to the injured and gathered witness statements. No information has been shared regarding the suspect vehicle’s make or model, but Baltimore police are reviewing surveillance footage and urging anyone with knowledge of the crash to come forward.
