San Francisco, CA (January 8, 2026) – Injuries were reported following a crash early Monday morning in San Francisco’s Mission District at the intersection of Bryant St and 17th St.
The collision occurred around 7:55 a.m. PST during the height of the morning commute. Commuters in the area reported a loud impact, and several passersby stopped to assist while emergency crews were en route. Upon arrival, medics and fire personnel worked to evaluate those involved, administering treatment for a variety of injuries at the scene.
Details regarding the number of vehicles or individuals involved have not yet been released. Some of those hurt may have been transported to nearby medical facilities for additional care.
An investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the crash. Authorities are reviewing conditions at the intersection as well as statements from those present during the incident.
