Greenville, SC (January 8, 2026) – A serious crash near Grove Rd prompted the emergency airlift of an injured man to Greenville Memorial Hospital on the evening of January 7.
Emergency crews responded to the high-speed collision, where they discovered an adult male rear-seat passenger who had been unrestrained at the time of the crash. According to reports, the man was thrown forward and struck the front windshield, resulting in visible trauma. Responders noted a significant head injury and a deformed left wrist. Despite the severity of his injuries, his vital signs were reportedly stable prior to air transport.
Due to the nature of the crash and the extent of injuries, a life flight was activated to expedite care. Responders noted a partial language barrier during treatment, and initial assessments suggested that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
