Redway, CA (January 9, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured in an early morning collision Tuesday in Humboldt County, prompting a response from emergency medical services in the Garberville area.
The incident took place at approximately 5:35 a.m. on January 7 in front of 3430 Redwood Dr, just outside the town of Redway. According to California Highway Patrol reports, the crash involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, and injuries were confirmed at the scene under CHP code 1141.
Due to the time of day, visibility may have been limited, though the exact cause remains unclear. Paramedics responded to the scene and provided immediate aid to the pedestrian, who was later transported for further medical care. The nature and extent of the injuries have not been released.
