Riverside, CA (January 9, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early Thursday morning to a reported injury crash on the eastbound 91 Freeway just east of Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside.
The incident was first reported at approximately 7:06 a.m., prompting a dispatch of multiple response units, including Engine 12, Engine 2, and American Medical Response (AMR). The crash reportedly involved two vehicles, which came to a stop along the right shoulder of the eastbound lanes.
Paramedics at the scene assessed the individuals involved and provided care for at least one person who sustained injuries in the collision. Further details regarding the nature or extent of those injuries were not immediately released.
