Las Vegas, NV (January 9, 2026) – A crash involving an RTC transit bus and a pickup truck left two people injured on Thursday evening in the southwest Las Vegas valley, according to local authorities.
The collision occurred around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and Jones Boulevard. Las Vegas Metro Police responded to the scene following reports of a vehicle crash with injuries. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, while the passenger received treatment on-site.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured but was cited for several traffic violations related to the incident. Police confirmed that impairment was not considered a factor in the crash.
