Greensboro, NC (January 9, 2026) – A traffic accident early Thursday morning near the intersection of Tomahawk Dr, River Dr, and Madison Woods left at least one person injured and brought a prompt response from local emergency units. The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m., during early morning hours when traffic in the area was still light.
Engine 52 and other responding crews arrived near Unit G on Tomahawk Dr to find a damaged vehicle and an injured occupant in need of medical care. Paramedics quickly evaluated and treated the injured party, though the exact severity of the injuries has not yet been released. The vehicle involved sustained moderate damage and was removed from the roadway once the scene was secured.
