Long Beach, CA (January 10, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a crash Friday evening on the northbound side of Interstate 710 just south of Long Beach. Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene, where a motorcycle was reported down in the number one lane.
The incident occurred around 5:51 p.m. Dispatch records confirmed a multi-unit response, including Engine 7, Rescue 3, and BLS 1, following a Charlie-level emergency alert. The California Highway Patrol was also en route to manage traffic and assist with the ongoing investigation.
Paramedics provided medical care to the injured rider at the scene. Details regarding the motorcyclist’s condition have not been released, but the crash prompted delays in the area as responders worked to clear the roadway.
