Shreveport, LA (January 10, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured on Wednesday afternoon following a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision near Baxter St in Shreveport. The incident occurred close to the intersection of Jewella Ave and Bellaire Blvd.
Emergency responders from Engine 15, Medic 15, and Car 2 were dispatched to the scene shortly after 12:00 p.m. According to initial reports, the male pedestrian was found bleeding from the leg as a result of the crash. First responders provided immediate medical care at the scene.
The extent of the man’s injuries has not yet been fully confirmed, and it is unclear whether he was transported to a local hospital. The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
