Graves County, KY (January 10, 2026) – A three-vehicle collision occurred on Friday morning in eastern Graves County, leaving one person injured. The crash took place near the intersection of State Route 94 East and State Route 564, just east of Tri-City, around 8:45 a.m. on January 9.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the crash began when an 86-year-old woman from Sedalia, driving a 2008 Lincoln MKZ eastbound on KY 94 East, attempted to pass a 2019 GMC Acadia. In doing so, she failed to notice an oncoming 2025 Kia Telluride traveling westbound.
Deputies reported that the driver of the Telluride managed to steer off the roadway to avoid a direct head-on collision. However, the Lincoln MKZ still sideswiped both the Telluride and the Acadia before coming to a stop.
The driver of the Lincoln MKZ was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other drivers involved were not hurt.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
We extend our best wishes to the injured driver for a full and speedy recovery.
