Silver Spring, MD (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched on January 9 to a personal injury crash reported on the outer loop of Interstate 495 near the area of Georgia Ave and Colesville Rd in Silver Spring. The incident occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m., drawing a response from Paramedic Engine 17 and Truck 17.
According to initial reports, the crash took place on the BLS power loop section of I-495, where traffic often experiences heavy volume.
