Metairie, LA (January 11, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Saturday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Power Blvd and Veterans Memorial Blvd, where at least one individual was reported injured.
The incident occurred shortly after 3:12 p.m., involving a black Nissan Rogue and a cream-colored Dodge. Engine 348, Squad 3, and additional units were dispatched to the scene in Zone 3305, near the I-10 Service Rd. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found one person complaining of pain in the neck, back, and shoulder regions.
Medical teams provided on-site care to the injured individual, and further evaluation was initiated to determine the extent of the injuries. Traffic in the area was temporarily affected while crews assessed the situation and worked to clear the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
