Charlotte, NC (January 11, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident Friday evening at the intersection of Charlottetowne Avenue and Elizabeth Avenue in Charlotte. The incident occurred at approximately 6:36 p.m. and involved at least one injured individual.
According to dispatch audio, a female patient at the scene appeared to be bleeding from the face following the crash. Medic and fire crews initially assessed the situation and quickly upgraded the response to emergency status due to the severity of her injuries. Paramedics provided on-site care and transported the victim to a nearby medical facility for further treatment.
The crash occurred in a busy part of the city, near educational institutions and local businesses, leading to temporary traffic disruptions. First responders remained on scene to manage traffic flow and evaluate any additional parties involved.
