Avondale, AZ (January 11, 2026) – A multi-vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred early on Saturday afternoon on the westbound side of I-10 near the N Avondale Blvd exit. The collision took place around 12:51 p.m. and resulted in a swift emergency response from Avondale Fire and Rescue and Department of Public Safety units.
Initial reports suggest the crash happened just east of the N Avondale Blvd overpass, causing lane disruptions on one of the region’s busiest freeway stretches. First responders worked quickly to treat individuals at the scene and arranged for transport to nearby hospitals for those who sustained injuries.
The Arizona Department of Transportation temporarily closed several westbound lanes while emergency personnel assisted victims and cleared wreckage from the road.
