McDonald, MO (January 11, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon on Highway BB in Goodman resulted in injuries and significant vehicle damage, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol officials.
The crash took place at approximately 1:55 p.m. in McDonald County when a 2013 Dodge Avenger, driven by a 20-year-old man from Goodman, failed to yield and entered the path of an eastbound 2020 Jeep Compass operated by a 20-year-old male from Jasper. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene, one by Metro Towing of Neosho and the other by a private party.
A 22-year-old female passenger in the Jeep Compass, identified as a Neosho resident, sustained injuries. She was transported by Freeman Ambulance to Freeman Hospital in Neosho for evaluation and treatment. All involved parties were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Authorities remained on scene to investigate and ensure the roadway was cleared. We extend our well wishes to the injured woman and thank the emergency teams for their swift response.
