Arden-Arcade, CA (January 12, 2026) – A male pedestrian has died following a collision with a vehicle that occurred Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Arden Way and Heritage Lane, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The fatal incident took place on January 11 and involved a response from both law enforcement and emergency medical teams.
Reports indicate the man was on foot when he was struck near the busy intersection. Sacramento Fire Department personnel treated the pedestrian at the scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Despite efforts to save his life, the victim later succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not yet been released.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. Officials have not provided information regarding the driver involved or what may have led to the crash.
