Houston, TX (January 12, 2026) – Authorities confirmed a fatal traffic collision near the intersection of Hammerly Blvd and McKean Dr on Sunday afternoon, resulting in a full road closure and an active investigation.
The crash, which occurred in the Spring Branch area of Houston, was reported shortly after 2:00 p.m. Emergency units from the Houston Fire Department arrived on the scene and confirmed at least one fatality. Law enforcement quickly requested additional units to secure the area and shut down surrounding lanes to ensure the safety of investigators and responders.
Details regarding the number of vehicles involved or the identity of the deceased have not yet been released.
