Raleigh, NC (January 12, 2026) – A motor vehicle collision with reported injuries occurred early on Sunday morning at the intersection of S Wilmington St and Tryon Rd, drawing a response from Raleigh Fire Department and police units.
The crash took place shortly after midnight, around 12:30 a.m., in the southern part of the city. Emergency communications labeled the incident as an MVC (motor vehicle crash) with injuries, indicating that at least one person required medical attention as a result of the collision.
Fire and EMS crews responded swiftly to the scene, where injured parties were evaluated and assisted. At least one individual sustained injuries serious enough to require further treatment, although the total number of people involved has not been released.
