Fayetteville, NC (January 12, 2026) – A 31-year-old woman was hospitalized following a multi-impact crash near Owen Dr on Sunday morning that involved both a vehicle collision and a utility pole strike.
According to EMS radio communications, the woman was driving with her seatbelt fastened when her vehicle collided with another car and then struck a pole. Airbags deployed during the crash. Emergency medical responders from Hoke County transported the injured driver to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for further evaluation.
The driver was reportedly alert and oriented, though she complained of lightheadedness and right knee pain. Additional injuries included visible bruising across her chest and abdomen, likely caused by the seatbelt and airbag impact. Medics confirmed her condition as stable during transport, with vital signs showing no immediate life-threatening issues.
The collision occurred during the morning commute, and crews worked to manage traffic while providing aid. It is unclear if other parties were injured in the crash, and authorities have not released details about the second vehicle involved.
An investigation is underway to determine the contributing factors of the crash.
We wish the injured driver a full and speedy recovery.
