Albuquerque, NM (January 12, 2026) – A traffic accident with injuries occurred on Sunday afternoon on the southbound side of Interstate 25 near Lomas Boulevard Northeast in Albuquerque.

The crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. on January 11. Engine 3 and Rescue 3 responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to those involved. At least one individual sustained injuries requiring transport to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

The collision caused traffic delays on I-25 southbound as emergency crews managed the scene and worked to clear the roadway. The exact number of vehicles involved and the cause of the crash have not been confirmed.
