Shreveport, LA (January 12, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on January 11 along I-220 eastbound at Cross Lake Bridge, near South Lakeshore Dr. Emergency crews from Engine 14, Medic 14, Truck 8, and Battalion 3 were dispatched after receiving reports of a serious accident involving a white Ford and a white Nissan.
Upon arrival, first responders located at least one male victim lying on the ground near the scene of the crash. The presence of an individual on the bridge raised urgency among responding units, as crews worked quickly to assess injuries and ensure safety in the area.
The extent of injuries has not yet been publicly confirmed, and it is unclear how many occupants were inside the involved vehicles. Medical personnel from Medic 14 began evaluating the male patient at the scene, while other units managed traffic and secured the crash area to prevent additional hazards.
