Metairie, LA (January 12, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on January 12 near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Blvd and Severn Ave. The collision was reported just before 8:00 a.m. and involved a gray SUV and a black sedan.
Engine 188 was dispatched to the scene, located in Zone 1841, after a caller reported the incident and confirmed that injuries had occurred. Upon arrival, responders worked to assess those involved in the crash and provided medical attention at the scene. The nature and extent of the injuries have not been released at this time.
The vehicles were found with visible damage, and traffic in the area may have been temporarily disrupted as emergency personnel secured the scene and cleared debris from the roadway. The intersection is a well-traveled area, which heightened the urgency of the response.
