Virginia Beach, VA (January 13, 2026) – A crash involving two vehicles led to lane closures and injuries along North Kings Hwy on Friday afternoon, according to local sources. Crews were called to the scene shortly after 2:30 p.m. following reports of a serious accident involving a gray pickup and a black SUV.
Paramedics provided treatment to at least one injured person at the scene, while firefighters helped manage the aftermath and clear the roadway. Witnesses reported that one of the drivers appeared disoriented and possibly under the influence, prompting further investigation by authorities.
Both lanes of N Kings Hwy were shut down for a time as emergency personnel worked to assess injuries and secure the area. The condition of the injured individual has not yet been released, and officials have not confirmed whether anyone was transported to a local hospital.
